At Maryville, we offer six fully online, for-credit certificate programs in our computer science suite. Learn the fundamentals and get started on your computer science career with your certificate in artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, data science, software development, or user experience/user interface (UX/UI).

These programs are streamlined to help you build your foundation in as few as six courses (18 credit hours). Then, you can apply all your coursework toward a bachelor’s degree in computer science, or round out your computer science skills with a second certificate. Coursework from the certificates in data science or cybersecurity can also be applied toward a bachelor’s degree in those subjects.

Depending on the specialization you choose, your program will range from 12 to 21 credits.
