Online Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership
Maryville’s online Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership includes a 128-credit curriculum composed of general education courses (45 credits), organizational leadership foundations (21 credits), a social science research sequence (15 credits), human resource management elective (3 credits), business acumen elective (3 credits), and general electives (41 credits).
Organizational Leadership Major Courses
Coursework is designed to teach students how to apply the science of psychology and business, using evidence-based practices to innovate, drive results, and manage change in today’s organizations. Learn to take a strategic leadership approach to any circumstance as you explore courses in negotiation, multicultural psychology, social conflict, organizational behavior, group dynamics, and organization development. The social science research sequence includes a series of courses that culminates with a senior project, designed to help students emerge with an interconnected understanding of how to craft research, analyze results, and present findings.

Admission requirements
Online Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum GPA for freshman applications: 2.5 on a 4.0 scale*
- Minimum GPA for college or university transfer applicants: 2.0 on a 4.0 scale*
- Official transcripts from all colleges or universities previously attended
- Official high school transcripts (required for applications with fewer than 60 transfer hours from a regionally accredited school)
- No standardized tests required
*Applicants who do not meet the GPA requirement may be considered for provisional admission.
Transfer Credit Policy
- Only credits from regionally accredited institutions will be considered for transfer.
- A maximum of 68 credits from a two-year college or 98 credits from a four-year college will be considered and evaluated for transfer.
- The student must take a minimum of 30 credit hours through Maryville University in order to complete a degree program.
- The acceptance of transfer credit is at the discretion of Maryville University.

Associate Instructor
Amy Quarton-Dambacher is an associate instructor at Maryville, where she has played a key role in developing the online organizational leadership program. She teaches courses in leadership, organizational behavior, industrial/organizational psychology, and group dynamics. Along with her course instruction, Amy also provides guidance for students seeking internships and other professional opportunities.
Outside of academia, her expertise is highly sought after as an independent consultant. Amy is the founder and CEO of the Job Fit Company, and she serves as the internship coordinator for the St. Louis Organization Development Network.
