Academic Bio
Philip C. DuBois, MS, CNHA, FACHCA, is an assistant professor of senior living management and healthcare management with Maryville University in St. Louis. He has been a nursing home and assisted living administrator since 2001, currently licensed in Arizona, Maine, and Florida.
Mr. DuBois is past president of the Maine Chapter of the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA), and he is a member of the 2008 class of the American Health Care Association’s “Future Leaders in Long Term Care.” In 2005, Advance for Providers of Post-Acute Care Magazine recognized his facility as the Best Long-Term Care Team in America. In 2013, he was given the Outstanding Educator in Long-Term Care Administration award by ACHCA; in 2018, he was presented with the Outstanding Member Award by ACHCA. Mr. DuBois is pursuing his doctorate in organizational leadership from Piedmont International University.
